Aliza joined the movement under the influence of her older sister, Violet. She was active in the local ken. In 1939 she stayed at a hahshara in Izbék. From 1942 to 1944 Aliza gave assistance to the refugees arriving to Budapest from Slovakia. At the end of June she left Hungary on the Relief and Rescue Committee train.
In 1945 Aliza made aliya and joined Kibbutz Ein Dor. She left the kibbutz and lived in Holon.
